Сonfession of faith

The (Niceno-Constantinopolitan) Creed

I believe in One God the Father Almighty, Maker of Heaven and earth, and of all things visible and invisible. And in one Lord, Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God, Begotten of the Father before all ages. Light of light, true God of true God. Begotten not made, consubstantial with the Father, by Whom all things were made. Who for us men, and for our salvation came down from heaven, and was incarnate of the Holy Spirit and the Virgin Mary and was made man. And was crucified for us under Pontius Pilate, and suffered, and was buried. And rose again the third day, according to the Scriptures. And ascended unto heaven, and sitteth at the right hand of the Father. And He shall come again with glory to Judge the living and the dead: of Whose kingdom there shall be no end. And in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the Giver of life, Who proceedeth from the Father, Who together with the Father and the Son is worshipped and glorified, Who spake by the Prophets. And in One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church. I acknowledge one Baptism for the remission of sins. I look for the Resurrection of the dead, And the life in the world to come. Amen.

Scripture

We believe that Bible is true God’s Word (Second Timothy 3:16, Second Peter 1:20-21). The holy Scripture consists of 66 canonocal books of old and new testaments-The Scripture showes us higher and final truth and isauthorised rule of faight but God is alive and His wors is alive-this is higher and the only truth of all ages. Amen!

God

We believe that God is one and in special way He consists of 3 Faces-Father, Son and Holy Spirit(Genesis 1:26, According to Matthew 28:19,3:16-17), God is Spirit which is one in His substance and His attributes are open for us in the holy Scripture, God is Maker of all seen and unseen worlds, God created all things from nothing.

Jesus Christ

We believe that Jesus Christ is God’s Son (John 1:1,1:14,20:28 and the First Timothy 3:16), Word, true God and true human, second Face of holy Trinity. There are two natures in Jesus Christ-divine and human-which are invariably and inseparable . He was incarnate of the holy Spirit and the Virgin Mary. He lived sinless life, was crucified for us on the cross. He was substitutionary sacrificed before Father for human’s salvation and rose again from the dead for our justification. He was ascended unto heaven, and sitteth at the right hand of the Father. Jesus Christ will come to earth again in His force and glory for eternal reign.

Fall of Adam

We believe that at first human being was made by God like Himself innocent, sinless and true. Human being free broke God’s commandment on his own and became sinful and mortal. That separated human from God. Universal sinfulness and mortality spread on all people that’s why every person inherited sinful nature and death from his parents.

Salvation

We believe that salvation is on God’s grace only(Thessalonians 2:8-9, Galatians 2:16, Titus 3:5). The base of our salvation is the sacrifice of Calvary of Jesus Christ for human sins. A person gets salvation making repentance before God and belief in Evangel.regeneration by the Holy spirit is nesessary for everyone’s salvation and is as a result of repentance and faith. the inner evidence of salvation is the direct witness of the Holy spirit. External evidence of salvation is life of the saved in righteousness and Holiness of God.

Ordinance of Christ for the Church

We believe that all repentant believers in Jesus Christ as personal Savior and God should be baptized in the name of the Father, Son and Holy spirit by full immersion in water, according to the commandments of Jesus Christ-by water baptism they announce to the whole world about their death with Christ to sin and resurrection with Him for new life, they also promise to God always be in a good conscience. The holy sacrament consisting of bread and fruit of the vine is a symbol of the unity of the Church, it recalls Christ’s suffering and death but also speaks of His second coming-all believers in Christ should take Communion “until He comes”.

Baptism

We believe that all believers in Jesus Christ as their personal Savior, have the promise of the baptism in the Holy Spirit-the main purposes of the baptism of the Holy Spirit are: the adoption of supernatural power for the Christian life, receiving spiritual gifts for service in the Church, which spiritually is the Body of Christ. The experience of the baptism of the Holy Spirit differs from the experience of the new birth. Physical evidence of the baptism in the Holy Spirit is the sign of speaking in other languages.

Sanctification

We believe that God calls us to live in Holiness and His will, which we can fulfill only with the help of the Holy spirit; sanctification is an act of separation from sin and dedication to God. The process of sanctification in christian life is through the recognition and acceptance by faith their Union with Christ in His death and resurrection; the permanent leadership of the Holy Spirit in all spheres of life.

The Church and it’s mission

We believe that the Church is the Body of Christ whose head is Jesus Christ. The Church consists of reborn people and it is called by God to fulfill His plan for mankind. There is one universal Church and many local churches. The universal Church consists of all saved by Christ, now living and the dead in God, without distinction of races, languages and ethnicity. The local Church is a meeting of reborn believers, organized and guided by the Holy Spirit through the gifts of service. Christians in every local Church gather together to glorify God but also for the edification, exhortation and communication. The earthly mission of the Russian Church of Christians of Evangelical faith as part of the universal Church is expressed as follows: to be God’s instrument in world evangelism; to be an effective means of spreading the Kingdom of God in the country and abroad; to be the Body of Christ, in which man worships and serves God; to be a place where every believer is turned into the image of Christ; to be a people that demonstrates God’s love and compassion to the whole world.

Service

We believe that every Christian must devote his entire life to serve the Lord in accordance with God’s calling. Every Christian is obliged to love God and to worship Him in spirit and in truth; to be God’s instrument for the edification of other believers; to carry the gospel; to serve people in love and compassion.

Divine healing

We believe that Divine healing is an integral part of the gospel of the Kingdom, an important element of the demonstration of God’s power in the Church. The freedom from deseases is provided through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross which enables the believer to receive healing through the prayer of faith.

About future

We believe that Jesus Christ will come again to earth (Revelation 1:7, Acts 1:9-11). The main purposes of the second coming of Jesus Christ are the rapture of the Church; salvation of the remnant of the Jewish nation; the defeat of the Antichrist; the trial of pagan Nations; the establishment of His millennial Kingdom on earth. The first resurrection the dead in Christ and join those who will be alive in waiting of the coming of the Lord, is the blessed hope of the Church. Visible return of the Lord to earth with His saints will lead to the salvation of the nation of Israel and set universal peace on our planet. All the remaining dead will be resurrected on the day of the second resurrection for judgment at the great white throne where they will be judged according to their deeds: some will inherit eternal life, others eternal damnation. According to the promise of the Lord we expect a new heaven and a new earth, “wherein dwelleth righteousness”.
